Background:

Born in a dark town off the edge of a forest Voy was found as a baby by an elder man by the name of Ghetyo. Ghetyo named the child after the long voyage he thought the child had floated down the river and Moom cause it was so close sounding to Moon of which he always gazed at each night. Raising the boy to think before he thought and to put others before himself Voy at age three took come a wounded creature from the forest in which he one day he had heard it's cries. The tentacle like bat creature could barely his when he had found it. After weeks of taking care of the creature he released it. But overnight it would come back and tap on his window. The two soon became companions. The moon calf was named Void because of the lack in which it was visible during the night. Voy spent years on the farm along with training in magic at night with Ghetyo. At age fifteen Ghetyo had become ill and died the next year after never have gotten better. Voy and Void lived for three years before setting out to fine a new live away from the little cabin near the woods. This is how they found Catalyst.
